The EMT Boot Camp Program is an intensive 12 day course consists of a minimum of 150 hours of classroom, laboratory, clinical, and field instruction. Students are also required to complete 40 hours of externship rotations for a total of 176 hours. This course follows National EMS Education Standards for the Emergency Medical Technician, the National EMS Education Standards as well as meet Texas Department of State Health Services education standards.

Note: Students have the option to fulfill their externship hours on weekends, depending on availability. However, it’s essential for students to be prepared to meet externship class hour requirements after completing the didactic instruction.

Students meet Daily from 9AM to 9PM. This course is fast paced and intense, but a truly exciting and quick way to become an EMT.
